Lawyer Giulia Chiara Gelsomino

I was born in 1987 and, after completing classical high school, graduated from Bocconi University in Milan with a major in Litigation and Negotiation. I have been a member of the Milan Bar Association since 2018.

Between 2011 and 2013, alongside my university studies and legal practice, I collaborated with the civil sections of the Milan Court, deepening my knowledge of civil procedure, non-contractual liability, and personal subjective rights.

In 2014, I earned my Specialization Diploma in Legal Professions from the Universities of Pavia and Bocconi in Milan. During my specialization years, I developed a passion for Family and Personal Law and began collaborating with Francesca King in the Family Law Department at Studio Associato Edoardo Ricci in Milan. Since 2015, I have worked at the Studio Legale per le Famiglie (in Italian, English, and Spanish), and since 2016, I have been trained in Collaborative Practice as an Alternative Dispute Resolution method and am registered on the lists of legal aid lawyers.

In 2019-2020, I attended the Milena Pini Advanced Training School in Family, Personal, and Minor Law organized by AIAF, the Italian Association of Family Lawyers, and in 2022, I completed the annual training course at the IACP Leadership Academy 2021/22.

I am a member of AGAM (Young Lawyers Association of Milan), AIADC (Italian Association of Collaborative Professionals), and IACP (International Academy of Collaborative Professionals).

In AIADC, I am the representative for the Milan Practice Group, a member of the Executive Board, and the Global Partners IACP liaison.
